🎻 January: Burns Night Ceilidh

We kicked off the year with a fantastic family Burns Night Ceilidh. Over 100 attendees joined us for a brilliant evening of traditional music, dancing, and community spirit.

🏡 January & February: Advanced Band Performances

Our Advanced Band spread joy throughout Renfrewshire with performances in care homes and a fantastic appearance at the Paisley Food and Drink Festival.

🎪 March: Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week)

We partnered with Community Circus Paisley to host a vibrant Circus Showcase and Ceilidh, featuring a stellar performance from our Gaelic Choir.

🚌 April: Stramash for Schools

In just 14 days, our tutors visited 42 schools and shared music and Gaelic culture with over 11,000 pupils across Renfrewshire.

🎵 Year-Round: Music Sessions in Primary Schools

Our tutors, Seán and Katherine, delivered traditional music and Gaelic sessions to approximately 1,000 pupils through our YMI and ASN music projects.

☀️ June: Summer Showcase Concert

Participants from our instrumental and Fèis Bheag classes, which run every Saturday, showcased their talents in a fantastic afternoon of music. Friends and family joined us to celebrate their achievements and enjoy the lively performances!

🌈 July: Fèis Week

Our 9th annual Fèis Week brought together over 170 young people for a week of traditional music, Gaelic, and fun. Highlights included the much-loved tutors’ ceilidh and our lively carnival day.

🏆 October: Gaelic Choir Win at Royal National Mòd

Our Còisir Ghàidhlig/Gaelic Choir wowed judges at the Mòd in Oban, taking 1st Prize in the Unison section. We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication!

🎃 October: Gaelic Choir at Paisley Halloween Festival

Fresh from their Mòd success, our Gaelic Choir performed in County Square as part of the Paisley Halloween Festival. They showcased their talents and made us all proud with their wonderful performance.
